From the reviews
My son and I joined Ganguly's a few months ago, and we couldn't be happier! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with professionalism and warmth from the owner and staff.
My son has been in Gangulys for a little over a year now and it was the best decision my wife and i have ever made. His maturity, confidence, skill and discipline have evolved at a rapid pace. Mr Colin, Mrs Jackie and Mr Joe are amazing with kids and always have a positive attitude and passion for martial arts.
I’ve trained for many years, and I had an amazing experience at GMMA. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, and they really care about helping their students improve. The classes are challenging but fun, and I always had a great workout. It’s a very welcoming and supportive environment.
Our family has been a part of Ganguly’s for almost a year, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We had the option to send our boys to a place less than a half mile away from our house, but when Ganguly’s came highly recommended by someone in our network, I called and spoke with Mr. Joe and never looked back.
Your first muay thai class at Ganguly's Mixed Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
