From the reviews
Our new go to Thai in North County. We used to frequent Kinaly Thai, but the taste and portions changed for the worse after a recent ownership change. Be warned, it's pretty spicy here! I normally go for a 7 and add additional spice at home, but a 6-8 here had me pleasantly sweating!
Went here because of the reviews. Gave 4 stars because it was def good, but it wasn’t mind blowing in my opinion. I got the broccoli and beef, chicken pad Thai, satay chicken, and garlic wings. The broccoli beef was an all around favorite for my family, it was so good and the broccoli tasted so good too.
Chicken Satay - delicious. Chicken is cooked well we liked the peanut sauce Wontons - delicious. Perfect proportion between wrap and cream cheese guts :) Green Curry & Yellow Curry - delicious. However, we wished the curry was thicker like many of the other local Thai restaurants in the area.
I visited Thailand in December and after coming back from there I visited this place and trust me they serve authentic thai food. It's a small budget friendly restaurant. I love there lunch time soup. My husband ordered yellow curry and I ordered green curry which was spicy but ohh sooo delicious.
Your first muay thai class at Muay Thai Kitchen
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
