From the reviews
I've done walking, running, treadmill, lifting, zumba, etc. Those were all boring and repetitious after the first couple of times. But THIS (!!!!!) is an amazing place. I've joined for the Muay Thai classes and i absolutely love coming every chance i get.
The best place in Bakersfield to train for Muay Thai. I trained there for about 2 years before I moved. The instructors are excellent. If you are having trouble learning something they will take the time to work with you so you can properly learn technique.
Used to go there best gym they break it down for you if you can't learn the moves very respectful and if you forget your gear🥋🥊 they have extra and have water bottles if you forget it and if you lose something they have a lost and found.
Honestly I've been getting my ass kicked back and forth and I couldn't ask for more the 2 days I spent there so far has taught me alot and I get to train with alot of different people with different skill sets there's alot of people who didn't like the training because they had to spend the first half holding pads or…
Your first muay thai class at Eric Nolan's Xtreme Training Center
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
