From the reviews
I don't think there is a word in the dictionary that can describe how amazing and special this place is. My son is 10 years old and joined WMB almost 2 years ago. With a son newly diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers my son has flourished and has found his confidence and something that he truly loves.
I wanted to write a spectacular review for WMB, but as you can see from all the other reviews, it would just get lost in a sea of positivity. Instead, I will give those doing research some advice. You owe it to yourself and/or your children to be involved with the very best training you can get.
Can I rate more than 5 stars? Amazing wonderful experience . I am a single mom of 3 dealing with your typical teenage boy defiance. I will forever be Grateful for the support found at WMB . Most importantly they teach Respect , Discipline , perseverance and the importance of a balanced life.
****WMB is a gem to say the least. *It has an excellent family environment filled with great people and a positive atmosphere. *There is a great variety of classes in the most effective fighting disciplines.
Your first muay thai class at Miami WMB Training Center
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
