From the reviews
Words cannot explain how much of an impact Enshin Karate has had on my life. Sensei Vlado is an amazing instructor with not only knowledge in the martial arts but also great life lessons that you can implement on a day to day basis.
I have been attending the adult class for the last five months. I’ve trained in other styles of martial arts and Enshin is very diverse and challenging. It incorporates traditional kicks and punches as well as sweeps, throws, leg kicks, and ground fighting/defense.
The Sensei not only offers classes from beginners to masters, child to adult, he also cares about his students. He has helped many open their own dojos and keeps in contact as a mentor and a friend. He provides after school care for students and, with COVID, safe virtual learning.
Our son has been going to MMA for almost a year now and our experience continues to be incredible. Starting with the technique of training, building confidence in kids and teaching them how to protect themselves. Our son loves the place and enjoys every time we come here.
Your first muay thai class at Kaizen MMA Ashburn
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
