Really solid programs. I did a lot of research before picking a Krav gym, and I initially went to them because they're the only one in town officially licensed, but I ultimately chose this as my home gym because of the great instructors and atmosphere.
I've been attending for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! It's one of the few places you can get an incredible workout and learn how to defend yourself. The location offers more than just Krav Maga for anyone just wanting a challenging workout. The instructors are top notch and push you to do your personal best.
Round Rock Krav Maga is amazing. I came in for one lesson and was immediately hooked. It is an amazing challenge and very rewarding. I love the challenge I face at every class it pushed me past my comfort zone. Krav Maga is an amazing workout and awesome self defense class.
I've been a member of the gym for close to 7 years. The first time I stepped in the place I felt like I'm home. That time I didn't speak the language and I felt I'm lost, but when I went to take classes the owners and teachers were so helpful even though I had no clue what they talked about I felt myself safe and…
Your first muay thai class at Round Rock Krav Maga & Kickboxing
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
