From the reviews
Invictus Martial Arts has been an incredible experience for our family. The coaches are not only skilled in martial arts but also exceptional leaders and mentors. Their ability to maintain discipline while creating a supportive and motivating environment is truly impressive.
Our 4 year old son loves going here for classes! My husband watched a class after our son had been doing it for a month and was impressed by the instruction and dedication that everyone showed. The instructors are so patient with the little ones and I'm always delighted to see what my son is capable of!
My daughter is in High School and is making plans to attend college very soon. Sending her off to college without her knowing how to protect herself was not an option for us. Thankfully, Invictus offers an amazing women's self defense program with Master Garza and Ms. Herrera.
Invictus helped my son and daughter grow with discipline and respect as they master the skills of MMA. The coaches here are amazing. They not only teach them the skills of MMA but also life lessons, descipline, gratitude, confidence and conviction.
Your first muay thai class at Invictus Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a muay thai gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics on pads and bags — not fighting. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: shorts or athletic wear and a t-shirt; you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and hand wraps if you have them — many gyms lend gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves, wraps, a mouthguard, and shin guards. Sparring is optional and comes later, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
